You might find that the brands Hobo likes one week, he won't like the next. Or like it for a few months then stop. My cat's loved Instinct for the longest time then completely refused it. They did not like the BG Quail at one time and now love it. Once you think you have it figured out, the kitties do a 180 :lol3:. I keep a few different brands on hand just in case they have a change of taste. Lots of great wet foods available, have fun and I bet Hobo is :D

Isn't that the truth!  My cats get Nutro Natural Choice Indoor formulas as a main wet diet but I have to switch brands and textures every so often or they will eat nothing but dry.  Our kitties do keep us on or toes, don't they

Yes, I concur with everything Lauren and Mike said!  (unfortunately
).  They (the furkids) always keep us guessing.

He doesn't like the Wellness Core either. This could get very frustrating and expensive if that is how he is gonna be.

Just mix them up with different brands of wet and different textures.  It amazes me how texture affects my cats.  They love pate' one week and the next won't touch it.  I'll give them a shredded or chunks in gravy and then back to pate'.  Different flavors is also a big deal around here. What irks me the most is when I'll feed them and 2 out of the 4 will love the pate' and the other 2 turns their noses up at it. Makes me crazier than I already am sometimes.  One thing they all like is the Max Cat Duck.  They will unanimously eat that one and not just lick up the gravy.

Ok I will try that. I don't think the reason he is refusing it is ecause it is cold from the fridge. I think it is the texture. He doesn't seem to like pate much but eats the shreds and chunks. I thought the Nature's Variety was pâté but can't remember, he loved the latter. Tomorrow I have to go to the town with the Petco and Petsmart in it, maybe I will pick up some more.

My gang are extremely picky, but since you have a Petco handy, they sell Soulistic (I think it may be their own brand), and that was a huge hit in our house, with all 4 of mine!  Too bad I only bought one trial can.  I've got to get back over there and get more.

I forgot to look for that band and there was one other brand while I was at Petco. I have to go back to town to pick my laptop up in a few days so I will get some then. Thanks!

Have you tried the Platefulls pouches by Natural Balance?  My cats love them all – and there are quite a few flavors to try but I think we’ve actually tried them all and they all went over great.  We buy the Indoor formula ones and noticed less smell in the litter box.  Great ingredients – all natural and very healthy as I’m very picky about what I give my little angels.  And I have one very picky little guy and he never turns his nose up at Platefulls.

Thanks! I see I can order them on Amazon. Might have to do that!
