Hi everyone,

I recently took in an 8 week old feral kitten. He went to the vet for a shot of antibiotics and his first set of shots. My question is that he cries  every night from 2am to 7am non-stop. What can I do to help him relax at night? There is a sibling of his outside as well, that we are still trying to catch. If we catch him will he be okay with his buddy?

I named him Garfield, when I can, I will post a picture of him :)

Thanks---Skitter, Doola and Missy :)

Yes, it will almost surely be better.

Good luck!

He might be hungry during those hours. Do you have some kibble for the kitten to munch on overnight? Do you have a Feliway plug-in in his room? Maybe play some very quiet soothing music overnight. The quietness might be an issue for him too. He could also be very lonely  Once you get the sibling, I am certain that Garfield (love the name :D) will stop crying all night like that. Poor baby - don't worry he will adjust and settle down. It just takes a few days for them to feel safe and secure. Good luck with trapping the other kitten :cross: :vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes:
