When I got a new cat tree about a year ago I put it in the corner of the living room by the picture window and moved the old one into the dining room at the opposite end of the house. That gave the kitties a 57 foot racetrack between the two. I decided I wanted more room in the dining room for people furniture, so moved the old cat tree to the screened in patio, which is just off the living room. I have tile floors, which usually makes it easy to scoot things around.

When I started pulling the cat tree I thought it was a lot heavier than I remembered, but I managed to slide it the whole 57 feet to the door. Then when I tilted it to get it over the doorsill I discovered that I had a 10# passenger on the top shelf! So do you think she hopped down to make things easier for me? Oh no, she just hung on for dear life while I was tipping the tree back and forth to maneuver it through the door. Not only that, Gavin jumped up and settled himself in the condo box just to balance things out. :seesaw:

Isn't it wonderful to have kitty helpers for projects around the house? :frusty:

Trapped in the catroom! ;o)
Thats funny. Sounds like something GiGi would do.

I cant wait till we remodel the spare room into the baby room. We are going to move the kitty stuff out between the bedroom and the addition.....should make for an interesting time since the spare room will be closed off to all animals once the remodel is complete. I can just imagine walking in there one day and seeing a crew of cats sleeping in the crib or on a dresser. LOL

I can just see it. You get the nursery all set up, carefully close the door to keep the cats out, then go back in to check on something. There's a furry critter looking at you from the crib. *What?!? It's a baby bed. I'm your baby, right?* :flail:
