went to buy cat food, came home with something extra!!!

I stopped by the Vet's office today to pick up this weeks supply of cat/kitten food, when a woman came in really upset stating that her neighbor's house had been raided and the owners had been arrested leaving behind a one dog and one cat, she had already found a home for dog bit couldn't find a hone for the cat, she was either going to take him to the pound(he would have been immediately euthanized) or take him home and throw him back out and see if he would make it until she could find someone to give him to. I couldn't let that happen(its 20f here tonight) he is way too sweet to be put down, and too sick to be put outside) I said I'd take him, had him saw by my vet, please send some vibes our way he is in the beginning stages of a URI, has a lot of eye drainage and Will be on antibiotics, his temp was 105f...we won't be able to vaccinate him for two weeks due to the URI, Good news is he is negative on everything! He seems to be eating well, and will be neutered when Blaze and Leo go in two weeks!

Poor kitty and puppy frown.gif

Great that you were able to save the kitty. If he is sick, its almost a safe bet that he wouldn't have survived outside. Another case of right place right time! Congrats and bless you for saving him!

What a great Meowmy you are for saving that poor kitty. Very true what were all saying about being in the right place at the right time. "There are no coincidences." heart.gif

You were supposed to be his mommy. Good luck with everything, can't wait to see some pictures!

Thanks again Everyone!!!! grouphug2.gif  He is ten times better tonight, wanting to play and so very sweet rub.gifhe has quite an appetite!!! We were told that he had litter box issues , our vet said that there was nothing she could find that would cause litter box issues. I gave him a nice new clean box and put tidy cats multiple cats scoop litter in it, and he hasn't had a single issue!!! I really believe the reason he had issues was because his box wasn't cleaned out on a regular schedule. The woman had stated that he would pee on anything fuzzy, I put everything fuzzy I could find in his room and nothing he uses his litter box like a pro!!!

I believe it was fate as well, we almost didn't stop because DH just wanted to get home and we had been out running all day!! I told him we needed to so that we wouldn't have to go back out in a few days and he agreed. DH stayed in the truck and I ran into the vet's office. When I walked back out with the food, I told DH I just adopted a kitty, he didn't believe me lol!  He said 'No, you didn't' laughing02.gif I just told him to come in the vet's office with me.  It was a match made in cat heaven with this little guy for me. I had been looking for the fourth and final member to add to our little family, more specifically a bob tail either white, or grey and black tabby, he is a grey and black striped tabby on a base white fur with a bob tail, and in need of a new forever home! The vet guesses him to be about 5 months old! rbheart.gif

I am posting pictures of the whole clan in fur pictures and videos at the moment!

*Sorry about the typing in my previous post, I use my phone to post most of the time and it's not very user friendly for posting in a thread lol! Finally able to use my laptop again!!

Congratulations on the new family member!  Four of my six were left behind by people that just moved away and left them; makes me want to wring someone's neck.

Your new little man is lucky you were there---bless your heart!  Sending many vibes.gif that the URI was nipped in the bud, and that he and your other babies take to each other with no problems.

Thanks so much everyone for all the kind words and vibes! We made a second trip to the vet on tuesday night, He just didn't seem right, not much of an appetite, wasn't showing any interest in playing. The vet put him on clavamox and an eye ointment with a 48hr quarantine, today he has been showing interest in food and he's been playing rbheart.gif He seems much more alert, and interested in exploring anything and everything he can get into!! Thanks again everyone...Sorry it took me so long to get back to everyone with an update, I started a new job on Monday clap.gifand we have been pretty busy trying to get settled into the new house and new job!!
