hard bumb on neck area?

My cat ( 10 years old ) has this knot that is bone hard in the are from neck to jaw. Look like what ever it is is in the skin. I see a small callus on it but it does not feel like it has puss in it. Planning on a vet visit but wanted to ask.

Whatever it is, it sounds like a vet errand.  May be a tumour. If it is loose in the skin and hard, it should be easy to cut out with quite simple surgery. Hopefully...  But better to do it sooner before later.

 

Can surely be other things too, still - vet visit.

It may just be a cyst.  My old kitty Odo has one on his head and one on his jaw.  My vet tried to drain the one on his jaw but she couldn't get anything out of it.  It's definitely worth getting checked out.

Might just be a fatty tumor or cyst.  Might not be but the vet visit you are planning is probably in order.  Keep us posted on the outcome if you have the time. vibes.gifvibes.gifvibes.gifvibes.gifvibes.gif
