Hi everyone.  I rescued a white cat with another little black and white one.  I nursed them back to health, and they have been really happy since.

THE WHITE CAT: loves to play, cuddle and be groomed.  Her fur was looking 100% better until recently.  She seems to have lost fur on both sides, along her stomach.  The rest of her fur is still lovely.  Does anyone know if this is normal in white cats - or cats in general?

Your help would be much appreciated!!  She doesn't go out much, but the sunscreen option sounds good - there is a lot of pink skin, and she likes to sit on the window.  Having said that - she was fine in the summer.  Thanks a lot, Mandy

I would take her to the vets and ask their opinion.  There are all sorts of reasons for fur lose, and white cats are no more prone to it than any other colour cat.
