pregnant bobtail

She has been nesting in our closet off and on since yesterday morning. She is having a harder time getting comfortable. She doesn't stay in one position long. She is also being more affectionate the past two days.

Anytime it seems like. Lizzie has been nesting too. She went into my couch last night fo a while. Not eating as much. Her temp was 99.2 all day yesterday and this morning it was at 101 so i am real confused.

Bear has been nesting constantly since about 11:00 this morning. Should be soon, she acting kinda funny.
I'm afraid to try and check her temperature lol. I don't know how the whole temp thing works either.

Lol I understand I was nervous too. I just held her by her cuff put lube on her bottom stick the themometer in about a inch or a little less. They say when it drops usually to 99 or below that in 12 to 24 hours labor should start

I can see when she is contracting and she is meowing a little each time she is paying special attention to her 'area'. So far so good.

Well Bear had a really rough labor. She screamed alot! She was throwing herself around our closet when she was delivering each kitten. I was freaking out worried since I have never heard of or seen a cat do that. But she made it through it and she is doing good now and resting with the kittens. 2 got stuck halfway out but with her throwing herself around she managed to get them free since she wouldn't let me help. So I am the proud grandma of 4 cute as can be little kittens. 2 orange tabbys (with tails) and 2 white (without tails). I will post pictures tomorrow after they all get settled in
