Hi peoples! 
My name is Katie and my husband and I are owned by four cats. I absolutely LOVE animals, I would take in every stray if I could.. I had dog that I got when I was 3 years old and I just put her down last July.. she was about 18 years old.. I am happy to finally find what seems to be an active cat forum, I'm sure my husband gets sick of hearing every detail of our cats lives. lol. ^^
My husband isn't too big on pets, he was raised on a Native American reservation where his family only owned animals that could work for them. Dogs for guarding the horses/cattle, horses for transportation and cattle for food... never had animals for the sole purpose of pets! Though he tries to tell me he doesn't love animals in the same way as I do, I see he has a special bond with one of our cats, and he never said no when I wanted to take in another kitten! As a matter of fact, we may be adding a puppy to our lives soon enough.
Anyway, about our kitties:
One I've had for 3 years, she's a little over 2 1/2. Her name is Nala! She's a tabby with a white stomach/chest/front legs, and a cute white spot on her left side! She was a very special birthday gift from my dad when I was going through a tough time. She's not exactly the friendliest cat in the world.. she hides when people she doesn't know come in the room, she doesn't really like pets and she only tolerates the other cats.. but I've caught her playing with them and even, on the rare occasion, letting them cuddle on her. And she REALLY loves me when I get out of the shower.. so weird. This is her:
Our second oldest is Nero and he is pretty much solid black with random single white hairs.. he's about 6 months old. He is a real lover with me, not so much with other people.. my husband actually gets a little jealous cause Nero won't let anyone but me hold him. He is a big scaredy cat.. but I love him so much. He actually litter trained the next kitty! I was so proud of him, haha. He wants to be friends with Nala SO bad but she gets really upset with him when he tries to cuddle with her. This is him, sneaking some cuddles:
Third (estimated) oldest is Naiyu(neye-you). He is grey with slight tabby markings(can see them in the right light), with a white spot on his chest and a white spot on his belly. He is pretty sociable to everyone, he takes an extreme liking to certain people, and then promptly forgets who they are the next time they come to visit. He is the only cat that will lay in my arms while I fall asleep(he LOVES this), and he has the loudest purr! This is him:
And last, but certainly not least, is Nova! We believe she is a siamese mix. She has the markings, and pretty blue eyes, and she can be very vocal when she gets in the mood. She loves absolutely EVERYONE. As soon as someone comes in the room she demands they drop everything and give her some love. She will fall asleep in your arms.. and she is just always purring. She has a really weird obsession with sitting in your pants while you are on the toilet.. it can spell disaster when another cat sees her moving in there and starts ATTACKING YOUR PANTS!!! lol.
