There is an awful story in the Los Angeles Times today about a man in El Cajon, California (eastern San Diego County), who is charged with felony animal abuse.
He was visting his neighbor, and the dog followed. He repeated kicked the four-year-old and then threw him into a fence. The dog died at the scene.
My thought upon reading this was that the SOB should be shot.
No wonder I like animals more than people.
We had a story in my local paper about a month about an 18-year-old who repeatedly beat his dog whenever he argued with his mother. He is in jail, and the dog has found a new home.

Too bad he didn't get a chance to find a better home first. People are sick, they really are. If you have it in you to kill an animal (a pet, especially) then what else are you capable of?
