Good morning

Today's question is one about computers

Mac or PC?

The both have their strengths.  I like Mac for doing more business oriented things that are important.  But PC is much better for gaming in my opinion.  As it stands now, I have a desktop PC for gaming and a Macbook for basically everything else.

Windows laptop. The translation memory software I use for work isn't available for Macs; co-workers who need to use it and had Macs had to replace them.

I have a MAC as a personal computer, but at work use a PC. I bought my MAC when I moved to Korea, as I was told it would be easier to get a MAC fixed over there than a PC (Not sure if this is actually true, but I bought one anyways). I've had it for 3 years and still don't know how to use half the things on it lol

I'm using a Dell with Vista. DH is using a Dell with WinXP. My new computer at work should be coming in this next week; it's also a Dell with Windows 7.

I've gone through so many PCs over the years because they're cheap and easy to use... but they'd break constantly! And tech support was always a nightmare. I finally spent the $1000 to get a Macbook, and I love it. It took me a while to understand how to use it, but once I got the hang out it, it's hard for me to use a PC anymore. I've had it for 3 years and it's still going strong, aside from the charger falling apart (which I blame Bowser because he loves to attack it). I love it the most because it's great to use for photography, video editing, etc. My boyfriend has one of those huge flatscreen iMacs with the Adobe suite on it so I do all of my photo editing there. We even got rid of our TV because the monitor is so large and clear so we just watch movies on there!

Bought a MacBookPro about a year ago.  I can barely do anything with it.  I wish there was a place nearby to take classes.

The computer charting that I do at work is PC, but Cerner Surginet isn't a very user-friendly program.  I'm sure it was cheap though.

PC!
But that's all I've had in my grown up life.  I do think we used Macs in school waaay back in the elementary years.  When using a computer was just something you did a couple times a year!

My husband is a computer guy, so it is all pc/windows in this house. He needs that for work. We have two deaktops, plus parts to probably make up two or three more deskts. :lol3: Our first adventure into Apple is the IPad we got at Christmas.

Have you googled to look for simple tips? I only ask because I was a bit lost with the IPad and then a friend posted a link with tips on Facebook and it helped a lot. I still have a lot to learn, but can do the basics now. :)

I use both. It depends on what I am using the machine for.
