I have been to this site before and got plenty of help! I have been caring for a group of feral kittens since they were born. I had five from two females, but now I am down to three. I have a black and white tuxedo one who is now hurt and limping. I was taking care of the cats by feeding them until they were big enough to look after themselves. This little one "Buddy" has stolen my heart. she is super cute and friendly! I cannot keep her inside becasue I already have two males. I noticed her limping today and when I try to touch her side she cries loudly. I cannot take her to the vet because we dont have any in my area and my husband wont pay for a "street" cat. Is there anything I can do to help her?  Thanks again for all the previous help and waiting patiently for answers!!!!

Cats can be prone to dislocating their knee caps.  You could try waiting until tomorrow...She might have just sprained her ankle (like my kitty did) but the fact that she cries when you touch her means she's really hurting and it's probably worse than that.  Can she walk on it? Is her foot touching the ground while she walks or is she holding her foot up?  When you touch her, is her side bothering her or her foot? If it's her foot she might have something stuck in her toes.  If it's her side it might be her knee cap...  Some vets make house calls!  Can you convince your husband that you should keep her after you fix her all up??  Are your males fixed?
