I went and did a major shopping today. I needed a new bed and while I was there decided that I also need some other new furniture since my love seat is circa 1996, and my kitchen table is circa 1984.

 

Here is my haul. Everything but the bed is on lay-a-way. The lay-a-way will be paid by the middle to end of March. By then I should be settled in and have room to receive the furniture, and the bug spraying should all be done.  The bed will be delivered this Saturday to the new apartment.

 

I went to 2 different furniture stores to get what I had my heart set on.  The leather is "faux", not real.

The tops are real marble stone slabs.

Here is a picture of the round one, only mine is normal height, not "pub" height with bar stools. Me and bar stools do not get along. And mine is a bit larger, maybe 2 inches or so.

And I'm thinking about getting this, but I have to wait to see how everything fits and then there is the consideration of moving out of the building.  I may end up waiting to get this until after I figure out where I'm going to finally land when all this moving stuff is over.
