But I'm going with the Robins!!  Last weekend I thought I saw a Robin in my neighbor's tree that isn't too far from my bathroom window.  I wasn't sure.  Then Tuesday DD and I were in the backyard and I thought I saw 2 on the fence.

But yesterday I saw 2 for sure in my other neighbor's backyard!!  It is DEFFINITLEY early for them to be here!  But I'm not complaining either!  I just hope they aren't playing games with us!

So the Groundhog might say winter; but I'm going to think positive and go with the Robins!  I think they are more likely to know what they are doing.  I hope.

We've only had a few dustings here too.  My 2 never seem to shed or put on much extra.  But my Mom's long haired cat still has her full maine.  It normally takes a while to loose anyway.

In that case; I like your Warton Willie Nat!

Noodles was just in the livingroom window all twitchy and excited over a robin hopping a few feet away from the house.  So the robins are hainging around!

Ah...I saw robins last weekend I think it was..it was after the storm we'd had, and they were yelling in the backyard.  The huge hedge we have is a favorite - gets visited by the robins each year as they migrate :)

The geese are going North. And I saw a bug today! Outside! This is a weird winter. If we get 6 more weeks of this it'll be OK.

I miss Wisconsin
I am near boston and  It seems winter has not even started and it should be half over.  Its been a very weird season.  No snow. last year we had record snowfalls.  But *knock on wood* it is not over, and I dont miss the snow at all.

I don't miss it either!  Our trees arent trying to bud yet; but I've now seen flocks of robins and the geese had me up early this weekend.  So those are 2 signs I'm happy with!  But it doesn't feel like winter ever really began here either.  DD hasn't even worn her snowpants once!  At least the jacket is getting plenty of use.  Still cold enough for that quite often.  She hasn't needed her boots either.
