Where are you watching the game? And, more importantly, what will you be serving for the game?

We're going to my sister's for dinner and to watch the game. (Correction: They will be watching the game. I will probably be reading a book or hanging out on my Nook....I am so not a football fan.)

My sister is making steak sandwiches with peppers and onions. She's asked me to make crock pot beans and my potato salad. And I'm making queso dip. There's a recipe for a chocolate caramel pie that I've been wanting to try for a while now, so I'm making it and taking it for our dessert. Plenty of margaritas to go around. So we'll be splurging quite a bit on Sunday.

What about you?

We'll be lounging at a resort hotel eating whatever's on the menu that I wouldn't even try to cook and enjoying the skiing.

Superbowl weekend is out anniversary weekend so we end up going away every year. DH isn't a huge fan and I couldn't care less so it'd not a problem.

I'm going to a friends' annual party. They make the requisite chili, people bring things. I always bring caramel corn that I make. One of our friends, years ago, discovered that the caramel corn tastes really good when enjoying a beer! :lol3:

I don't think they'd let me in the door if I didn't have the caramel corn. :D

I'll be watching. The Superbowl is he only football game I watch all year. We have a football pool in work, which makes the game fun and Madonna is the half-time entertainment. :) I am making little tuna and little egg salad football shaped sandwiches. The laces will be made from cream cheese. I still haven't decided who I'm rooting for. LOL!

I shouldn't even admit this. We are HUGE football fans. The game is on a channel that we have problems receiving, cuts in and out...not reliable. I have anxiety issues that make it really uncomfortable for me to go to a bar to watch the game. So we rented a motel room in the town 6 miles from us.
Hey I want to see that game! Go Eli and the Giants!!!

I'll be at my friends' house, drinking far too much alcohol. I'm bringing hot wings. :lol3:
Yum! Fun!

That sounds like fun too!

In fact, I wish I could drop in on everyone's SuperBowl parties and try out all the food. :D:nod:

It will be just my DH and me. I'll do Marlboro Man sandwiches from Pioneer Woman. We don't really care about the game because we aren't fans of either team so we'll mainly be watching for the commercials.
