Hi all,

I carried Treasure to the vet yesterday for her "new kitten" check.  She's 5 months old and too cute for words.  Today I have her isolated and she's getting flagyl, probiotics and something else for the loose stools she's had; the fecal parasite exam came back normal so it may just be a tummy bug.

However, he was concerned about the third eyelid showing meaning she could be ill.  I've looked at pictures I've gotten from the breeder and as far back as October 9th, I've seen the third eyelid in pictures.  Treasure just purrs and purrs and purrs and is the most laid back kitten I've ever seen (so long as you don't try to clip her toenails).

Could it just be larger than normal?

Sorry, but what breed is Treasure? I have heard of people on this site discuss eye issues with certain cat breeds but since I've never had a pure bred, I've never had an issue with a larger than normal third eye. I would suspect that there is something wrong, even if it is a breed specific problem.

She's a Norwegian Forest Cat.  I haven't seen anything in my internet searching.
