Ok, my picky boy Lucas just won't go near his Nature's Logic chicken canned food.   My plan is to switch Lucas to raw, by since he is eating dry z/d right now because of his food allergies ( and is not working at all)  I need to give him canned food so I can then switch him to raw.   I ordered this food, a dear friend suggested it because it doesn't have all the vitamins and additives that we think are making Lucas sick.  So I gave it to him and he won't touch it.

He reacts to z/d, to Royal CAnin HP, to all Natural Balance foods to  everything and he also hates raw.  And the only raw I can give him is not pathogen free, is food from the supermarket.  ANd he also get stressed whe I change his food.  What am I going to do?????

He looks absolutely awful tonight and I can't sleep, this is killing me.   I've never felt so helpless in my life. I wan't to cry and scream at the top of my lungs!

I just think he doesn't like the consistency of the food, maybe he doesn't like chicken, who knows?  All I know is I feel helpless and I don't have any choices or answers.....

I'm tired and sad, don't know how to help him.....

Gosh, Tammy.... This is even hard for me to hear, so I can just imagine how utterly frustrating this is and how it must be taking a toll on you day and night. Just emotionally draining. You really are trying so hard for your baby.... :sigh: I also purchased some Natures Logic canned foods. The chicken, the rabbit and the Duck..... Guess what, three of my six did not like the chicken either, Pipsqueak being one of the three. I bought them as a back-up food during my raw transition and to mix with the raw meat. That canned food does have the best ingredients and I highly recommend it, I found out about the canned foods from Auntie. I decided to pick up a few cans because I was so impressed with the ingredients too. It is always a gamble as to whether the cat's will like it :dk: They don't seem to agree with us on what is good for them and what is not :lol3: It is expensive too. Do you have the rabbit ?? I wonder if Lucas would like that protein. Of course, that is the most expensive of the three types that they offer . I am sorry he doesn't like the Chicken, but keep trying it. I cant remember, did you try the Halo treats or the Whole Life treats that Auntie recommends? I wonder if you crushed this treats over the food he would be enticed.... AW, hun, My heart goes out to you. Enormous Vibes to your Lucas. Come On Lucas, PLEASE try the food for your momma :rub: :cross: ...:vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes:

If he doesn't like the consistency of the food, have you tried blending it in the food processor or in the smoothie maker? That might make it better? What about blending it and sprinkling it with fortiflora? Tried that? :vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes:

Nature's logic has the same texture  as Nature's variety lamb.   My cats prefer these because they like chunky canned.   In the very beginning they accepted sticky soft ones better, now they prefer chunky harder ones.  Maybe Lucas will come to like it later.  Did you try mixing it with z/d?
