job interview - Page 2

I have to say that's a bad business man/woman for not getting back to you!.

If we get people sending in letters for a job l always send them an e-mail to say unfortunately at the moment there isn't anything available, but that we'll keep their details on file, and end off with wishing them luck on the job front.

Is it a well known organisation Ash because l know a lot of them from where l used to work for their signs?

It is rude- no excuses, just plain inconsiderate and lazy. Sure it's not the most fun task to have to do, but for crying out loud it's not that hard and it's part of the process. Unfortunately that seems to be the norm these days. frown.gif I have a friend who works in a large corporation here and she interviewed for another position recently. It's their policy for HR to contact people to let them know they didn't get the job, and yet she still hasn't heard from them, despite calling them herself (she knows from someone else that they got the job). It certainly doesn't leave you with a good impression of them anyway.

Good luck with the search Ashley! At least you had a positive interview, and that's good experience for next time. smile.gif
