I know I haven't been around much but after I found out last week that my job probably isn't safe in the pub I've started looking about for somewhere new and I have an interview on Wednesday morning and would love some vibes for it if any can spare some :) 

 

This pub I'm going for is where all my "regulars" drink if they aren't in the currant bar I work In so I will get some fab references through all of them I'm very confident about it but nervous because I haven't been for an interview in over two years.

I agree, interviews are nerve wracking, but they're an evil necessity. Just stay positive and confident and you won't have any problems!

It went really well I will here by the weekend. He did seem very impressed and kept saying that's what I want to hear so was very positive so I got everything crossed now laughing02.gif

Well I think its safe to say I didnt get it....its annoying that he couldnt pick up the phone to ring to say I hadnt when he had said he would let me know either way :(

I thinki after people have gone for interview it is very rude not to tell the results and to offer feedback if asked. Can you not phone him after after all this time?

I think it's rude of them not to call you back, even if you didn't get the job. To me, it's a courtesy thing. But it happens here, too.

 

You know, I think I'd call him. That way, if he did offer the job to somebody else, at least he might keep you in mind for future reference, if nothing else.

 

Go ahead...give him a call.

I would of given him a call if I had thought it would help, theres only one reason I wouldnt of got the job and its because I dont have a personal license.  

 

Im pushing forward looking for something else instead :)
