We took our cat to get fixed today assuming it was a she and it turns out it was a male, but his testes didn't drop so they had to be removed through his stomach. The care instructions they gave me match nothing I've been able to find online, everything I can find is for regular neutering. The problem is he's 7 months old and he's FREAKING OUT. What do I do? I'm so scared he's going to tear everything open. There is no where in our house we can put him, everywhere we've tried he tries to jump and they said don't let him jump or play and try to keep him calm, but he refuses to calm down. He isn't very friendly and bites so petting/holding him is out of the question. Right now we have his crate door off and his crate is butted up against his litter box door so he can get to his commode, but even in there he won't lay down. How do I make him calm down?!
Please help, I don't want him to get hurt! Thank you.
