Worried about Kitty

I haven't seen her for a week now. frown.gif As some of you may know, I've been taking care of a stray dubbed "Kitty". The name just kind of stuck. She stayed outside, and I fed her- once I let her stay in the bathroom for the night because it was very cold. I last saw her last Monday, it was around 9:00 and she was happily running around the yard. The next day it got a lot colder, so I presumed that she just went somewhere to get warm. I haven't seen her even though the temperatures have risen.

The food I put out keeps disappearing, but I worry that it's some other kind of animal. I've also seen cat prints in the snow, but I'm not sure if they are old, or actually even her's.

Hoping that someone decided to take her in, or perhaps I just haven't been around when she comes over. I would appreciate any vibes you could send her way. smile.gif

  Vibes send!

Good luck!     *vibes*

Ps.  Go around when it is quiet  (spelling??) (also at dusk) and call at her.

Knock on and ask neighbours if they perhaps did closed some cellar ar outside building, she perhaps happened to be locked inside when they didnt noticed.

Begin with the neigbhours whom you suspect dont hear so good any longer.

Hi Eileen ! I do remember your talking about Kitty. I really hope she returns to you soon. Sometimes, they do just wander off and disappear for days at a time, only to return looking just fine. Such a worry ohno.gif I hope Kitty comes back soon cross.gifvibes.gifvibes.gifvibes.gifvibes.gifvibes.gifvibes.gifvibes.gif

You can also set out a trap with some tuna.

At least you will know that she is fine, or if the food is being eaten by another kid in the area.

Good luck!

Good news! clap.gif Light snow overnight, so I could see new prints. Saw definite cat prints this morning. And this evening- Kitty was right out the back door eating her food! I'm very relieved, but I wonder why she only visited at night?

It may be there did come some new cat or dog into the neigbourhood, being dominant and agressive.

And his patrol time is at days.

Not uncommon at all.

Tx fo the good news!

clap.gifclap.gifclap.gifclap.gif YAY!!!! So glad that Kitty has returned biggrin.gif. This does happen often - the stray kitties disappearing for days at a time just to return as if nothing was ever a problem laughing02.gif Something could have frightened her off - who knows. But that would make her change the time of day she would come back. Just glad she IS back clap.gifbiggrin.gif

Glad she's back!

Growing up we had a kitty that would disappear for stretches during the winter and worry us to death. Turns out, when it got really cold, she went to the house several doors down and hung out next to their fireplace. They even had a different name for her that she answered to. laughing02.gif
