So, I know I haven't posted here much. I registered here earlier in 2011 back when my family was thinking of getting some Ocicats. Well, we never ended up getting any ocis.

Instead we ended up finding a stray, three week old siamese kitten we later named Jasmine, that was back in October of 2011.

All was good until about two weeks ago she became extremely ill. We were told she had FIP, and that there was no cure, and chances were she would die of it.

We searched all over the internet for any leads we could find on FIP, sadly, we found nothing.

I came home this morning to learned that she passed away shortly before I arrived home.

I am amazed in the about three months we had her how attached we all became to her. She was the perfect little kitten. So far it has been pretty hard on my family and my other kitten who doesn't seem to know what to do.

If there is one thing I want to see changed in this world lately it would be a cure for FIP and every other "uncureable" illness.

If there is one good thing in this, it is that my little kitten isn't in any pain anymore. But we will surely miss her.

RIP Jasmine.

I am so sorry you lost your little one.

She is in very good company at the Rainbow Bridge.  So many of our little friends are there.  Yes, I also wish for cures for all these horrible diseases.  You gave her a good life full of love.  So many do not have that privilage.

God bless you and Jasmine, the little
kitty.
