My feral is soooooo frighten from the wind .She will not go in her house and stays on the porch. I feel bad because I have to take her bed and blankets and the heating pad in because it will all blow away the minShe gets off.in the day it is ok because i am there to help her but at night I feel so bad for her. She does go under the. Porch. Is there anything I can do to make her not be so frighten. Maybe there is something can put on the bed to not make her stuff blow away.

Can you set up a box for her under the porch or maybe in your garage? Maybe it can be held down with some bricks?

HI :)... Here is a link so you can have some ideas on how to build your own shelter. I would try to put all of your feral cat's items in a secure outdoor cat shelter and then she can also get out of the wind. You say your kitty has a house.... Could you move the cat house onto the porch? And put the heating pad and bowls inside the house? :vibes::vibes:

Thanks. For the idea of putting brick on her bedding. But how could she lay on that. Bella does have her house on the porch. I think I will try and put a soft bed under he porch if I can fit it. The sad part is is she looks for me by the door and wants me to come out there and cuddle with her. Oh it just breaks my heart. But this morning when I woke up my husband said she was in her heated house.:vibes::vibes::vibes:

My homeless cats on my route (all TNR's) have all shown me fear when it's windy. While normal nights I show up and can barely drive up them without them surrounding my car, windy nights are a different story, many of the most faithful are in hiding.

I know, sad for them.

Hi again. I guess I thought the bedding was in a little house or box and the whole thing was getting blown around. I imagined you could hold down the box with the bricks inside and still fit the bed inside.

I don't really have a clear picture in my head of what you have.
