We brought the little Daisy-gril home last night eventhough she's still sneezing a bit. The vet gave her 2 shots on Tuesday when her foster mom took her for a re-check. She does NOT like being in the carrier and tries to dig her way out. Poor girl. She cried a little bit to get out, but overall she did great on the way home. Within 15 mins of being out of the carrier in her isolation room, she ate, explored, ate some more, and settled in for some big head butts and purrs. I think she purrs the entire time one of us is in the room with her! She's successfully used the litter box (hooray!) and she's ready to explore the rest of the house! LOL
Last night, she woke me up twice because she was trying to get out of her room. She so desperately wants out! We have started her on lysine and nose drops to help with the sneezes and lingering URI symptoms. She slept with the vaporizer in her room last night. We might have to risk it and go ahead and introduce her to the rest of the clan because none of us slept well last night!
I'll post pics later!!
