Good morning! Wow, the last Friday in January already....this month has gone by quickly.

Today's question has been done before, but I like reading your answers....(because I'm nosy):

What are your plans for this weekend? Are you doing anything special? Or just the same old weekend stuff?

Our plans are for the same old weekend stuff. We are planning on repainting the kitchen ceiling tomorrow after running errands and doing a bit of shopping. We need things like clothes hangers, light bulbs for the night light in the bathroom, things like that. I'd like to buy a Bona mop for the computer room floor, so a trip to Lowe's is in order. And I'm looking for some new pillowcases. Since tvs typically go on sale around here right before Super Bowl weekend, my sister and I will be looking at new tvs; she wants one for her attic area and I'd like to get one for Rick for the living room (and then I'll take the old living room tv for the basement). But we're just looking for right now....unless we do find a good deal.

Tonight I'm going to a friend's Birthday Party, which should be fun, and tomorrow my sister and I are going to getn our haircut and going to the Library and probably running some errands.

Hi Pam :D!!! Just the same old stuff - and happy about that... NO plans. The last few weekends have been very busy and I look so forward to just taking it easy this weekend. Probably a dinner out - but good for me - no cooking then :D

DH has plans to install a new ceiling fan in the bathroom.  I hope it turns into a simple project and not an all day one!  I need to start sorting and getting rid of things in our study so we can start turning it into a nursery for the new baby!  But I can't get too much done till the new desk we ordered arrives.

If DH gets his project done in a timely fashion I'd love to go pick paint colors for the nursery too since the bedding just arrived this week!

Aside from laundry - sheets in the morning -- usual cleaning, we may go to Olive Garden.  Haven't been there in a while.  I always enjoy their soup, salad and breadsticks lunch, but we might go for something else there also.    Also time to clean litter boxes, wash thoroughly and change all the litter  -- lots of fun!

Tomorrow morning we have to drive my aunt and uncle to the airport. They're going away for a week and we'll be taking care of their 2 beagles!
Then we'll be heading to an adoption fair happening for the shelter. 2 of my fosters are being adopted first thing so we need to facilitate that.
THEN we have to go to our yearly work communication meeting. They usually try to make it entertaining and provide an awesome buffet meal. Also Dana has a VERY good chance of winning a major award this year that usually comes with a trip. Here's hoping!

Hopefully Sunday we might get to relax a bit!

The weather has been unseasonably warm here so I'm going to take advantage of it.  I went horseback riding today and will ride Sat. and Sunday.  Tomorrow night will be dinner and a movie with some friends.  Sunday after riding will be stock day.  Meaning I'll be making my usual monthly batches of chicken and beef stock.  The house will smell wonderful.  A couple of close friends will be over for dinner Sunday night and we'll watch movies.

Same crap, different weekend.
Laundry, cleaning, you know the routine. I REALLY need to get my Christmas tree down this weekend. I planned on it last weekend but I was sick and didn't do squat. I love putting up decorations but HATE taking them down! The house is so depressing once they are gone. And yes, it's even turned on tonight.

Well, besides homework, I've also decided to go to the local-produce market and also Plato's Closet when they open at 10. I have a hankering for roasted beets and I also need some business casual clothes for my new internship.

I went to work for 5 hours yesterday and tried out my new MP3 player. That was awesome but found out I need to bring the power cord as it ran out of juice after about 4 hrs. Then we went grocery shopping.

Today was church. An AWESOME service! This afternoon we are going to Bible Study. Pastor Polly does not know it is also a surprise birthday potluck for her. I am bring my salsa and chips. We have to be there early as we are helping her grand daughter set up.
