Pushkin made me laugh this morning. I took him out for a little walk, and he loves to pee when outside. He spent a while looking for the perfect spot to bless with his sprinkle. Under the spirea bushes? No, not quite right. In the pile of leaves? Nope, not good enough. Hmmm, where to go...He walked through the hedge and as I came round the other side I saw that he'd selected the perfect spot. He was peeing into a chipmunk hole! Poor little chippies! I'm sure they were curled up deep enough underground and escaped the indignity of being peed on by a cat. :lol3:

That's hilarious! I have no love for chipmunks. They were always much meaner than the squirrels around me growing up. I guess Michigan has some of the meaner chipmunks around. I can't tell you the number of times I've had a chipmunk throw an acorn at me from a tree or chew through a walnut stem to try and make it land on me. Those things are little buggers.

 No love for chipmunks? Those Michigan chippies must be mean indeed! :lol3: Canadian ones seem pretty shy from what I've seen. We were camping once and had a couple of really bold chipmunks who ate right out of our hands - very cute!
