Apparently, Guinness does not appreciate being woken up. 'Nuff said laughing02.gif.

To be fair, it's actually the flash that is making him appear angry. He is tremendously sweet and was just snuggling under the covers of my down alternative comforter when I decided to snap this pic. Unfortunately, he always looks upset when I take photos of him with the flash -- taking pictures of a black kitty is no easy feat! The truth is that he is always cuddling, purring, and loving on me. I don't know what I did before adopting Guinness. He truly has completed my family.

I hear ya on the taking pics of a black kitty... it's very hard. Also, my snowshoe knows that the camera means a flash so he rarely opens his eyes when I point it at him ;)  Nice "grumpy" pic though!

Try taking pics in a bright natural light room with no flash. I often find my pics come out better without flash.

To prevent the blur try your camera on a still surface as not to move it

I know what you mean about the flash making him look grumpy. I've got so many "grumpy" pictures of Holland, but she really does have just the sweetest face! I can never seem to get any good pictures without the flash, though, so my best ones of her are usually when she's sleeping... laughing02.gif
