Hi, all!

 

I have recently broadened my Facebook circle of friends beyond those I know intimately to include people I've met online, and it has been a fantastically rewarding experience, way beyond what I expected.

 

So I wondered if there was a thread here for folks to exchange their Facebook urls; I searched back six months and couldn't find one.

 

Do we not have a Facebook friending thread, or am I just missing it?

We don't. People have been doing that via TheCatSite.com Official Page That's also where notices about contests, downtime, etc., are posted.

I've "liked" the TCS Facebook page, but there's no way for me to identify (and then reach out to) other "fans" I may know from here. You, for instance.  ;-}

If I remember correctly, people wrote their TCS user names in their friend requests, and then hooked up with other TCS people through their friends' lists. I'll PM you my real name.

Ah, I see. Thank you very much, totally explains why I couldn't find a thread - really thought it was just something lacking in my search skills! LOL! ("Friend" request sent! *smile*)

Do you think we could post our usernames on the TCS Facebook page and have people respond? That way we could friend the people we know?

Yeah, I posted on there yesterday then realized I was the first poster since Feb, 2011. I did go to active group but how do I go there to check day to day without a link?
