Just wanted to share an update on my sweet neighborhood stray Louie, who's now been at the rescue for four weeks. As you may recall, Louie was very scared and unsure of things during his first week at the rescue. He actually stopped eating initially and it took fluids and appetite stimulants to get him back on track. Once he realized he was safe, however, we realized what a sweetie Louie is. He absolutely adores belly rubs and loves to cuddly. He's a big baby at heart. Louie is now officially up for adoption and listed on Petfinder. I'm thrilled that he's doing so well and am hoping that someone special comes along soon to adopt him, but it will be so bittersweet when this happens. As many of you know, Louie's very, very special to me and, if I could adopt another cat right now, it would be a big, black adult male (aka Louie).
