There's no place like home
1/4 teaspoon is 435 mg. I use a slightly rounded 1/4 teaspoon to get to 500 mg.

Oops, just noticed you are from France. Sorry, couldn't find a conversion for this. 1/4 tsp is US standard.

I don't know, but I bought l-lysine pills in the grocery store and crushed them. They were 500 mg. I just realized you are in France too. I hope they are available there.

Its okay I'm originally from U.S.  just moved here 6 months ago.  My mom mailed me some teaspoons cuz they don't sell them here.

Hi Dinah and welcome. You can get L-lysine here - in the larger para-pharmacies or health-food stores. I buy mine in Caen. but you should be able to get it in Dijon, I would think. There are also teaspoon sized spoons, though they con't call them that as the French don't drink tea like we do. You have to go and find them. If you have trouble getting any other 'normal' things please PM me and I will try to help. Often things exist under another name or in a shop you would not immediately think of.

The teaspoons aren't used for tea :)  teaspoon is just a word used to describe a certain size that comes in a set of measuring "spoons".  Sometimes its not even in the form of a spoon.  I am going to pm you now as there are a few "normal" things that I can't find, thanks :)
