All in all, I'm impressed, Lauren! Pip ate a half ounce of RC chicken - and without sniffing it first for a few weeks!

And :princess: Perla REALLY wants to make you work! I guess that's what minions are for. :D

GOSH- WHERE do I start... busy day over here. Considering the crazy day, meals went VERY VERY well. 100% RC Lamb for breakfast :woohoo: Perla needed a bit of Fortiflora to finish. Presley also, but  GET THIS... same as Klag..... Presley will eat his meat with a FAKE TOPPER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OMG It is hilarious. I sprinkle an empty packet of Fortiflora over his meat and he digs in. Unfortunately, that does not work for the :princess: I just adore my babies. They fill my day with JOY and laughter :lol2:

OK let's see. Pipsqueak ate the Fegnion Rabbit  :high5: Carolina sent me five tubs of the Rabbit and Pipsqueak loves it!!!!!!! I would have never known about Fegnion if I didn't receive it from Carolina :D . NOW I have another meat to order for Pipsqueak. Might try their turkey too

Walden and Wendall, what can I say..... they are boring now in comparison :flail: " SORRY BOYS.... your SO good at eating raw meat, I don't really have to report on you anymore" (:paranoid: KNOCK WOOD!!!):clap::clap::clap::clap::clap: Those two will eat whatever momma puts down :rub: :heart3:

I received my order from Nature's Menu today!!! John sent me a free bag of frozen raw beef patties. WOW the beef is really, really juicy looking. He also sent another free bag of the FD Beef chunks. The cat's like the beef chunks - well not all of them :lol3: I am hoping that the Beef will be another good one to have in rotation and hopefully they will not :barf: on it. I think we are past all of that though, they took to the Rad Cat juicy meat just fine AND the Fegnion Rabbit is really red and juicy too, Pipsqueak did fine with that. I think the Probiotic/Enzyme Supplement has done it's job  :bigthumb: Will let you all know how the beef is taken when I get to it.

OH I also got my package from Amazon which contained the new toppers!!!!!! OMG the :princess: Perla DEVOURED (which surprised me because of her stressful trip to the vet today) her dinner tonight which was NVO Chicken and Fresh raw organic chicken WITHOUT Fortiflora BECAUSE.... she LOVED the new topper.......... Halo's FD Salmon !!!!!!!!!!! YOU GUYS..... I don't want to jump the gun here - but this would be a dream come true for me to get Perla away from Fortiflora :cross: I hope she doesn't change her mind tomorrow :slant:

I am still really enjoying this process - the rawsome journey :D :happy3: I just hope that someday - the four PsIMA will be just like the two W's. YEAH RIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!! Like that will ever come to pass..... :lol3: BUT miracles do happen...... I can dream :9:

Can't beat fake toppers!   They are easy on the pocket book too!   :)

If it's all a mental thing with these cats, maybe I'll put the raw inside the kibble bag, and dump it right from the kibble bag into the bowl and see if their little heads explode from confusion or they just eat it.

OH OH OH OH OH I am rolling on the floor laughing   AND I agree, Laurie, thank goodness I wasn't taking a sip of something while reading this :spit: :spit: :spit: OMG Fake Topper's - easy on the pocket book. Tonight the "fake-out" worked for Perkins too :flail: This is getting cheaper by the day

NOW, IF that works, the raw balls in the kibble bag, then MY head will explode IF they eat it KABOOM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.

Ok you guys.  Just finished cleaning off my monitor, because I WAS eating a bowl of cereal, and guess what ended up on my screen after reading the last couple of posts
.  Too funny!!

(but, I too have used the fake toppings, not on purpose, mind you, but can I help it if the FortiFlora ran out and I didn't realize the packet was empty?!

Hey, Lauren, so glad Perla is liking that FD Salmon.   I just ordered some Evanger's FD Salmon.  Hoping it's a hit over here, because I still haven't really found anything that Stinkpot likes as a Topper, real OR fake

OMG PERLA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :flail: OK - SHE IS ONE SMART CAT!!!!!!!!!!!!! She will try anything to get out of eating raw.....

The night before last upon serving dinner - Perla was no where to be seen. OH WELL... I am so done trying to persuade her to come for mealtime. I heard her thundering around upstairs and having a ball running through the house. So, I just fed the other three P's as usual. After the other three P's were done eating and I was cleaning up downstairs and putting things away, etc. Perla comes dashing down the stairs and leaps on the counter, sitting in her eating spot practically panting from her adventure upstairs. DARN, :doh3: I thought, I was all out of raw because I fed her portion to Perkins and Presley. SO she just had some canned food. Ate well. OK fine and I didn't think much about it. WELL - yesterday - she did the exact same thing at the morning meal and the dinner meal.  I would go downstairs to feed, I could hear her thundering and running around the house upstairs :flail: It is SO cute to hear her tearing around like that. (I think she loves that Walden/Wendall are locked in the foster room during mealtime too and she dashes around displaying her joy :lol2:) Anyway, I proceeded to feed the other three P's downstairs all the while Perla was upstairs racing to and fro. After mealtime, I was cleaning up again. AND the :princess: come dashing downstairs and jumps on the counter in her spot. WHAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AND AGAIN, I was out of raw because I gave her portion to the boys. :doh3: OMG I then realized, this is what she had planned, exactly what she had hoped for. That momma was all out of raw meat and she would be offered something completely different. OK - granted I fell for her new little trick - but not for long. YEP - this morning - momma HAD some raw leftover for her when she arrived for her meal fashionably late :D :lol3: She was quite taken back over it too, very disgusted that I had figured out her scheme... but she did eat reluctantly with the help of the FD Salmon. NOW - let's see what little plan she concocts up for her next raw meat boycott mission :flail:  GOTTA LOVE :princess: PERLA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

HAPPY KITTIES TODAY!!!!!!!!!!!! and not a happy weekend :eek:hno: My parent's were visiting this weekend.. SO meals were totally screwed up and kitties were hiding all weekend. Except for Walden and Presley... I couldn't believe Pipsqueak :dk: He mostly stayed downstairs the whole weekend :shame: It had me really worried. Perla and Perkins stayed under my bed the whole weekend and came out to eat at night. I actually got up SUPER early on Saturday and Sunday morning and was able to get one good raw/wet meal into my cat's before mom and dad got out of bed. I knew once the floors started creeking all of the cat's would :dash: :dash: :dash: Even Perla ate :thud: she was SO hungry. my poor little :princess:

BUT THIS MORNING :woohoo: :jump: The four PsIMA had RC Turkey and Pipsqueak also had Fegnion Rabbit!!!!!!!!!!! HE LOVES FEGNION RABBIT :clap::clap::clap: Walden/Wendall has NM Chicken and RC Chicken :rub: :heart3: Licked their plates clean with no topping's ever needed for those two. Perla needed the Halo FD Salmon, Presley needed the Fortiflora to get started and then needed FAKE SPRINKLES :flail: to keep eating. Perkins needed a sprinkle too then went to fake sprinkles :flail: Pipsqueak does not need any toppings, like Walden and Wendall :clap::clap: A great start to my week !!!!! :D :happy3: :bigthumb:

I am going to order my Rad Cat today. I found a great deal at the Only Natural Store in Boulder, CO. If I order from them, and stay on an automatic delivery (which I can add to or take away from without penalty) then I receive $1.00 off per tub :clap: So shipping will be like $15.00  Carolina and I agree this way will be much easier all the way around and I will be saving money too!!! So Carolina won't have to shop and ship :lol3: the RC... but I want to thank :thanks: her so very much for her generous offer to keep shipping to me :hugs::hugs::hugs: Originally when I called that store they quoted me much higher shipping charges. When I called last week to double check, I received a whole different set of options and charges. Guess it depends on who you talk to   I am also going to order more Fegnion Rabbit!!! Pipsqueak, Walden and Wendall all love the FEG Rabbit. Will be good to have in rotation as well. :D :wavey:

Glad things are back on rack after your company.  Hmmm.  maybe I should contact that place in Colorado.  Afte rall, AZ is closer to them than IL!!  If you can get shipping for $15, I should be able to also

Just went out to their website...don't see the Fegnion there.  Are you ordering it directly from Fegnion?  Their shipping to AZ was outrageous (more than the order)

IF you order from this place for the Rad Cat http://www.onlynaturalpet.com/ and you sign up for automatic shipments you will receive each and every order $1.00 off of a tub. I will be ordering the 16 ounce size tubs. 8 Lamb and 8 Turkey. Shipping was about .$21.95 plus $9.95 for packing, styrofoam and dry ice. Since I will be buying 16 tubs then I get $16.00 off my total which will make shipping about $16.00. You do live closer so it might even be less for you. I think that is a really good deal and you can change and adjust your pre-automated orders on-line and make them less or more and still get the $1.00 off per tub ordered. AND there is not a monthly required amount, meaning you can set up delivery for every two or three months, whatever you wish. Of course, you can change that as well, all on-line. I talked with Jesse and she was very helpful.

For the Fegnion. You are right  I tried to order today directly from them and shipping is outrageous. What a bummer because Pipsqueak loves the Rabbit :sigh: I emailed Fegnion to see if there are any retailer's or distributor's closer to me. :cross:

That's great that you have a place where you can order the Rad Cat directly!  I hope you can find a good supplier for the Fegnion too.

Also, good for you for keeping up with the raw, even with company there disrupting things.

Pipsqueak doesn't need toppings? PIPSQUEAK DOESN'T NEED TOPPINGS???????????? :thud:

BTW, even with a $20 shipping charge, Fegnion costs less to feed than EVO canned. ;) (And BG, Wellness, Weruva - and a lot of others. ). I'll email you the spreadsheet. :D

Yeah, I had not quantified the monthly cost of the canned food we used to buy, so proper meat looked expensive at first. Then, a specialty meat with shipping? :O It's so nice that your spreadsheet puts stuff like that in perspective! (Is it posted online somewhere, or is it a work in progress?

I'm happy to email the spreadsheet to TCS members. Just pop me a PM with your email. Only the dry portion is up. An article and the entire thing will be going up on CatCentric this week sometime. :)

AND YES :woohoo: :jump:  PIPSQUEAK NEEDS NO TOPPINGS!!!!!!!! In fact, :thud: IF I put a topping on his meat, he won't eat it

Well, forget the Fegnion, DARN.... It is not one shipping price $20.00 for ALL order's within reason. AND it is going to be really pricey to keep it around just for Pipsqueak. Really expensive. So I have to forget about the Rabbit Fegnion :shame: BUMMER....... part of me is just tempted to get some and cough up the cash just for Pipsqueak. And only use it for him. Will mull that one over for a bit.
