Today my sister and I turned in our phone modem and we're just using our Cell Phones now. That's going to cut about forty dollars off our TIME WARNER bill and we aloso switched to basic Cable TV. The one thing we will not do is give up our computers. Both of us re alized that we were reaching for our cell phones more than our house phones anyway, so I don't think we'll miss it too much.

I found the text in this book spot on, but the illustrations aren't helpful at all. Good over all book

This mat caught my eye because of its size and texture, which traps fine litter rather well. It's large enough for jumbo litterboxes, which is also a plus. It's not quite as easy to clean as a...

This scoop was a freebie with some clumping litter I bought last year, and I like it so much that I've bought a second one. It's perfect for fine clumping litter, which it sifts very thoroughly....

I have neither a landline in my apartment nor cable TV. I don't watch much anyway; and what I do watch (usually just the Daily Show) I can catch the next day on Hulu.- capt_jordi

We havent had land line phones since about 2009. Never really miss it. Right now all we have is internet. We rarely watched out cable so we had that turned off and now just stick to Local channels, ESPN3 on the xbox, Hulu+ and Netflix.

I only have cell phone now as well, but when 911 happened, I was really happy I had a land line! Any of my friends that had cell phones were coming by to use my land line. It sounds so prehistoric......land line.....

My brother and sister in law didn't have a home phone either...but my mom babysits sometimes and does not have a cell phone so she demanded they get one in case there was ever an emergency and they did. They use it too though, because they don't always remember to charge their cells, or lose them on occasion.
We've always had a land line for those reasons too. If I lost my cell, I'd have no phone at all...and I can't deal with that. lol.

We also got rid of our land line.... It took some time to adjust though. I love using my cell phone now for all calls.

We got rid of our VOIP phone last year. THe only reason we had it is because we wanted internet & Cable- Both $45 a piece, unless you got phone- then it was 25, so it was cheaper to pay for all 3 even if we only used the internet & TV> Now we just have internet & cell phones (also netflix)
Our cell is free after 7 PM, and 3000 daytime minutes, plus unlimited text, web, and data. :) All for about $199 a month, but we also have my brother on our plan who pays us $60 a month.

We haven't had a landline in about 4 years. Since we both had cellphones, it seemed pointless to have a landline. With my plan I have free after 6pm during the week unlimited weekend, and unlimited texting. I don't know know how much weekday minutes I have, but since I'm generally at work all day I just use my work phone. It's a good way to have money. We just have internet and cable. I could live with just internet as I watch most of my TV shows online, the BF wouldn't be able to live without being able to watch his precious hockey on the big tv

We gave up the land line about 8 months ago. We were only using it for the dial-up on the computer. The dial-up modem went out so I had to bite the bullet and get Wi-Fi...the only reason I had put it off so long was my phobia of having a stranger in my house. (Weird, I know...but it is what it is) Hubby stayed home while it was installed. We only use it for the computer. Hubby has a company cell phone and I have mine....no need for a land line. Just more $ out the door. I totally hated the sound of the house phone ringing. lol!
