I just bought a Eclipse 200 Series MP3 player and for the life of me, I can't figure out how to get the music I love on it!
Does anyone know how to get music from my CDs or online for little or no cost?

Most MP3 players are essentially electronic hard drives. You probably have a USB cable with it. You plug one end into the player, and the other end into the computer. Your computer will likely then recognize it as a new drive, and ask if you want to open the drive to view the files.
I just downloaded the manual for that player. It's available here:

It shows how to do it with Windows Media Player, but I'm willing to bet that if you open the MP3 player as a drive (as above), you can navigate to the Music folder on the player. Then you can drag and drop .mp3 files from your computer into that folder.
Obviously, you have to have the .mp3 files on your computer, first!
Oh, and when you're done, be sure to click on the little icon at the bottom of your computer's screen to "safely remove hardware."
I was doing all that but I figured it out. I needed to rip my CDs first to the computer. My player also recognizes WMA files which is what the CD's convert to on the computer. I have already downloaded one CD and I am very happy. The player also has a camera and camcorder. I got is for a very good deal on it too. The price + tax was $47.67 but with my Kmart reward points, I got it for less, about $39.59 including tax.
I got a similar player for my brother. It was on sale, marked way down, and I used my employee discount, so it was about $35, give or take.
Well, I put all my CDs on the player (about 32 CDs) and still haven't made much of a dint in the storage. It holds up to 4000 songs. So far, I am extremely happy with the player. And I figured out how to put them as a mp3 file instead of a wma file.
