Slow loading of pages

Just a general question- and the mods can move this if I've got it in the wrong place. 

 

I've noticed that the boards tend to load kind of slow.  Sometimes it's frustratingly slow- other times it's just kind of slow.  I do have a desktop in the house that has problems with speed, but there's another one I've used that works fine, and both machines load the pages slowly. 

 

I'm just wondering if anyone else is having problems with this- or if there's something that might be wrong on my end.

Me, too, Cheryl.   Frustratingly slow, even though I've emptied my cache, dumped my cookies, cleaned up my disk, and anything else I could think of.

The problem seems to be a lot of scripts loading.  If you're using Firefox, you can install Ghostery and set it to block scripts, and it's a lot faster.

 

I understand this is a known problem, and it's being worked on.
