Beautiful Beeshee Marie

newborns 014.JPGShe lived just under 3 years.  I have never lost a cat this young, and the pain is like I had her 20 years.

She came to me in the form of a pregnant stray, Slick (mom).  She had 6 black and white kittens...3 girls and 3 boys. Homes were found for four kittens and I kept her, her brother Fetch and Mom.  They were born on my sons birthday, March 26, 2009.

She was such a beautiful little girl, but little she was not.  Tall and long.  All the kittens ended up with that build.  But what I will remember are her eyes.  They could penetrate steel.

She loved the laser.  She lept like a monkey on and off of the cat tree in pursuit of it.....never caught it tho.  Catnip was another thing.  Only a smidgen and her and her brother would really start going crazy.  Knocking eachother over, head locks, rabbit kicks.  I had to referee these two. Even Mom was not immune and they would tackle her too.

Three days ago, on Sunday, she started wanting to be left alone.  Stopped eating.  Took her to the vets and subsequently was informed she had a level 6 heart murmur. Heart disease.  My vet said he had not doubt it was hereditary.  She went down hill.

Last evening, she went home to be with all the others we all have lost.  I would not have her suffer a minute longer.  My mom, no doubt, welcomed her with open arms.  I asked her to.  Like I had to ask her to hold a cat.  She was never without a kitty in her life.

Today, my big strong husband had tears running down his face as we buried her in the kitty graveyard at the rear of the property, under an old crooked apple tree.  This man who people said did not like cats hugged me and I could feel quiet sobs. I cut a piece of her fur for me, left a snip of my hair with her along with tears that fell on her.

So in ending, she was a baby.  My sweet little girl.  Maybe in honor of her, we could all go give our kitties a hug and tell them how much they mean to us.  Because in a heartbeat, they can be taken home. Now her heart is good again, but she left us with broken ones.

Thank you for all the beautiful words.  I wish I could give everyone a huge hug.  Feel my arms around you guys.  Here are a couple pics of that sweet girl...the one and only little Beeshee Marie.  3/26/2009 to 1/7/2012rbheart.gifbeeshee3.jpgcamera phone 031.jpgcamera phone 045.jpgher brother holding her down.0218111525.jpg best pals.jpgBest pals0327111410.jpgbeeshee marie.jpgher eyes

I'm so sorry for the loss of your beautiful BeeShee Marie.  It is devastating to lose one so young.

She can play with my Sheba, lost at barely age 3, at the bridge.

Hugs,

I am SO very sorry hugs.gifhugs.gifhugs.gif . BeeShee Marie was such a beautiful girl. She deserved much more time with you, but you did everything you could. Please take comfort that she is making lots of friends at RB while waiting to see you again.

It doesn't matter how many years they're with us - they still take pieces of our hearts with when they go. Beeshee Marie was a beautiful girl and clearly had a big home in your hearts.

hug.gif It's devastating to lose such a young fur baby, especially when it happens so quickly and you're unprepared for it. Fetch must really be feeling her loss, too. RIP, sweet Beeshee Marie, watch over your feline and human family, know you were loved very much and PlayhappilyRB.jpg

It's terrible to lose  a beloved pet at any age, but this was just too young.    Life just isn't fair!     I sat here crying reading your story and can feel your pain and sorrow.    Trust that she is now happy and playing at Rainbow Bridge with all of our special babies.   I hope my Boots, BJ and Ali were there to welcome her.

I am so very, very sorry that your baby girl left you so soon rbheart.gif.  I was shocked when I read your other thread that she was gone, just so quickly, and I pray that if it is hereditary, that somehow her brother will escape the same fate that took her.  Thank you, though, for not letting her suffer hugs.gif.

What a wonderful group of friends here.  Thank you so very much for your lovely words of comfort and for looking at the pictures.  It sometimes seems like a dream.  I get up in the am and think is this real or a dream?  A few seconds of relief and then the reality hits again.

You all are the best.  Thank you  for everything.

Thank you for your words of comfort - especially because of the emptyness you're feeling at this time from your recent loss of Beeshee Marie.  My heart goes out to you & your husband.
