Cat Vibration Collar

Hello all.

 

I was wondering if anyone knows of a training collar that vibrates?

 

The notion and goal would be the same as a shock collar, but without the shocking.  The collar would instead vibrate, startling the cat and (hopefully) making them think twice about doing the same behavior.

I've never heard of vibrating collars, but like the shock collars l wouldn't use one because l hate seeing any animal startled.

 

What is it your wanting to stop it from doing?

No, and I hope and pray none are ever produced.  There are "scat mats" one can buy to discourage cats from staying on surfaces such as counters or furniture; I certainly would never promote these, either, but at least they are better than collars.  I would also venture to say that if a person is not willing to let a cat be a cat, they should not be caregivers to cats.
