I was just going to feed Beeshee Marie and notice her breathing is quite rapid.....of course its going on seven pm and no one is at the vets office and it's a wind storm outside.....what else...

Do you guys think I should try to feed her or what?  I am soo un nerved here.  Should we go to the e vet?  Is this a sign of things going south for my little girl???

Please help

Does your vet have an answering service?

How were things left... did you schedule a time for an ultrasound or echocardiogram? Did blood work results come back yet?

I really don't have experience with heart murmur (other than my own). I know they're either harmless.... or indicative of an underlying problem.

Given you still don't know what the problem is... if your vet doesn't have an answering service (where someone will call you back shortly after hours), maybe call the e-vet and ask whether this is something for which she should be subject to the stress of being brought in.

My little girl is gone.

Luckily, my vet was still there and told me to come right in.  My daughter was also there with her dog.  We were the last ones there.

Her lungs were filling with fluid and she was struggling to breathe.  So we gave her the ultimate kindness.

We will bury her tomorrow.....right now, I just need to cry.

God bless you all. Thank you.
