I don't often get anything with catnip because none of my cats react to it much, and toys with catnip are more expensive than toys without. My secret santa sent a tin with catnip in it. The kitties have had a great time batting the tin around and trying to pry it open, so I decided to open it for them.
I sprinkled a little of the catnip on one of their beds. Nothing much happened at first. Some of the cats never even came around to check it out. A couple of them sniffed at it and walked away. Miss Patchwillow plopped down on top of it and went to sleep. Nothing new there.
Shareena was the one who surprised me. She is one mean drunk!
She started attacking everyone and everything in sight: me, the other cats, the legs on the coffee table. 
Carolina, what in the heck did you put in that catnip? Sorry, but it's gone back in the tin and it's going to stay there. The kitties can play with the tin all they want.
