Since we moved to our new and improved TCS II, we also have a new and improved logo. The only thing we haven't updated is our Cafe Press Shop which is quite empty at the moment.
As you know, at Cafe Press you can order all kinds of things like t-shirts and tote bags and mugs. We would like our very talented members to create designs that represent TheCatSite for the Cafe Press Store!
The “Rules” or Design Criteria:
**Note: Any and/or all submitted designs that fit the criteria may be used for sale on TheCatSite.com’s Café Press store at the sole discretion of TheCatSite’s Owner without compensation given to the artist of the Design. By submitting your Design to this Contest, you agree to give TheCatSite the right to market the website and additional merchandise with said Design.
Please PM me with your email address and I will send you your choice of a PDF (Photoshop) file or a high-quality transparent GIF, as well as templates (JPG) for the Café Press specs. Please specify which format you prefer. If you request the PDF file ensure your email will accept an attachment of 1.2 MB of data. Either format will come to you in a compressed ZIP file.
Due Date:
The voting will begin on Wednesday, January 25, 2012. Please email your full size graphics in JPG, GIF, TIF, BMP type format to me, and post a smaller version (i.e. 600x600; 600x216) in this thread for voting by noon MST on January 25th.
Number of Entries:
We encourage you to make as many quality designs as you wish to make and show them all off in this thread; however in the interest of fairness please only enter (3) total designs for voting.
Please only put (1) image/set of images (both sizes) per post.
If you create more than (3) please clearly indicate which ones you are officially submitting for voting.
The Prizes:
The creators of the TOP TWO designs will receive a large mug with their winning design!

- Design(s) must include TheCatSite.com’s new logo.
- You must create, own or have permission to use any additional images used in the Design. If you want to use the photo of a cat that is not your own, please PM or contact the owner and receive permission to use it first. If you use a Stock Photo, be sure that the Image Rights include Commercial Use as the Design will be sold for profit. If you have questions, please ask.
- Feel free to use the Slogans from the Design Contest Part 1 thread, or come up with your own. There are some great slogans there!
- Create (2) sizes for your design: 2400 x 2400 pixels at 200 dpi (12”x12”) for shirt/tote bags & 1662 x 600 pixels at 200 dpi (8.31” wide x 3” high) for mugs/drinkware. Use the templates to ensure you have enough bleed.
- BE CREATIVE!! This will serve not only as a memento for our members who purchase these items from the TCS Café Press store but also as advertising for our wonderful site wherever these items are seen.
