Hello everyone,
One of my girls is coughing a ton and sneezing in the last few days. I have 4 kitties and 4 year old Birdie is the only one sneezing and coughing.
I have dealt with tons of sick foster kittens over the years but havent had any in a few years. When they would get sick I would give them L-Lysine which was a proven cure! However, they always were congested and yellow, green or at least clear snot was coming out when they sneezed and I never had any coughing kittens.
Birdie is coughing like a smoker and sneezing a little. No boogies, no snot is coming out, nothing in her eyes either. I am stumped.
I am going to start L-lysine today because I know it won't hurt her but please let me know if you have any ideas.

. Please take Birdie to the vet..... the cough would worry me with no other symptoms of eye or nasal discharge. You mentioned sneezing too - so it is possible it is a URI starting. I agree with starting the Lysine, it can't hurt - but I would not wait to have her checked by the vet
