My Kitten is Urinating on my things

Hi everyone, I am new to this site but I figured I would try it being that Im a little desperate at this point.  My husband and I got a male kitten (5 months old now) about 2months ago.

My kitten is already neutered and has had all his shots and has a clean bill of health.

However he has now over the 2 months urinated on my bed, pillow, clean laundry, and even actually on me once.

Ill first start off with that even though he has peed on stuff he uses the liter box all the time and his liter box is always clean so that can't be the issue.

At first we though it was a little anxiety and that he was scared of my husband as my husband is 6'6 very big man, and would run to me every time he would come home and thats when I noticed the urinating on the bed.

Now he is fine with my husband and I noticed that he had urinated all over my clean laundry the other day, and random shirt of mine that was on the floor, and a blanket throw that I use all the time.

Now, Im starting to think its me. all though he only seems to urinate on my stuff, he is always following me where i go in the  apartment, always cuddles with me at night, kissing me etc.

I really don't know what else to think the problem is here...any suggestions?

Actually they never tested him for any uti's

When I called the vet for suggestions he actually said it was uncommon for kittens to have uti's

The vet did say to call back in a few weeks if it had not stopped after removing the comforter off the bed and cleaned everything real well. He thought it was stress. I guess a trip to the vet next. Just sseems weird because it's never in any other areas but the bed area (thats when he peed on me and the clean clothes and blankets etc) I would think he would have accidents in the living room etc if it was a UTI.
