The other day Angel jumped on my lap.  Now Angel is truly in love with my husband and usually only sits on his lap, but I guess she decided to make an exception.   Tippytoes is extemely attached to me and is literally my shadow, follows me all over the house.    She walked into the room, saw Angel on my lap and you should have seen the look on her face.   I know people who don't understand cats say they show no expression, but we all no different.    "If looks could kill"  --- Tippy just glared at the vision of Angel sitting on my lap and, needless to say, she was very upset.      I think Angel got the message and immediately changed laps.   That made Tippy very happy!

Parker is my baby..but not a lap cat, so he doesn't care if Buddy chills with me...however, the odd time Parker does get on my lap, Buddy tries to jump up and push him off me. He does not like it...So anyone who thinks animals don't get jealous is wrong. They can be as bad as kids!

There was terrible sibling rivalry between Abby and my RB kitty Chynna.  Chynna was a very jealous girl, and if she saw Abby any where near me looking for attention, or getting attention, Chynna was right there to chase Abby away. It was an awful thing to witness because Abby felt so intimidated by Chynna.

There is still sibling rivalry now between Abby and the kittens.  Abby has become a real snuggle bug as she's gotten older and she just loves to be next to me at all times.  She doesn't like the kittens encroaching on me when she is cuddling. However, if one or both do, Abby doesn't chase them off. She gives them a dirty look, makes a noise and wanders off.

If I sit in the floor to pet Speck, Daisy will get in between us.  Then she just bumps him out of the way.
