I found the text in this book spot on, but the illustrations aren't helpful at all. Good over all book

This mat caught my eye because of its size and texture, which traps fine litter rather well. It's large enough for jumbo litterboxes, which is also a plus. It's not quite as easy to clean as a...

This scoop was a freebie with some clumping litter I bought last year, and I like it so much that I've bought a second one. It's perfect for fine clumping litter, which it sifts very thoroughly....

While there is always a possibility of a reaction to anesthetic or infection, the risk is low. I've had four cats spayed with no problems. The advantages of spaying are worth the risk. It lowers the risk of breast and ovarian cancer. It reduces her stress of constantly being in heat. There is no risk of pregnancy.
I'm sure your girl will come through it fine.

. I've had a LOT of cats spayed (ferals, my pets and other peoples' pets. . .maybe up to 50 by now?
), by many different vets/clinics, and not one of them had any trouble at all. Complications for a routine spay are rare in a young healthy cat. It is, of course, important to find a vet you trust, one you know is a careful surgeon, so you can be confident. But still, we worry. It's only natural because we love our kitties.- MoochNNoodles

I think it's natural to be worried. But like others have said; it's rare that things happen. But it does help to have a vet you trust and things.
When Mooch and Noodles were spayed I was using the base vet clinic so I had to find another place to get that done. I used a vet that a few of my co-workers had been going to for over 20 years and had great things to say about. Still it was a drive into an area I didn't go often back then and in my worry haze I got lost driving home.
Thank the Lord for cell phones. My friend happened to call me and I told her "All I see is CORN!" I found my way out a few minutes later. It's kind of hard to get that lost around here. I felt so silly!
Try not to focus on what could go wrong and just think how you are doing good for your baby. Focus on the good stuff! ![]()

I feel for you.....honest. We just had Tabby spayed over Christmas and I was a mess. But as others have said, it's important that your kitty be spayed. It's better for her health and it's better for her attitude. Believe me, there is nothing as loud as a female cat in heat! (Unless it's the males she attracts!) Your kitty doesn't need kittens and you don't need kittens either.
So go ahead and have your baby spayed. And go ahead and worry....it's OK. We all worry. Let us know when she goes into the hospital and we'll sit here and worry right along with you. ![]()
