Our apartment faces east and our only windows are on that side, so unfortunately we only have a small window of opportunity for sunbeams. Every morning, Bowser sits in the beam until it completely goes away.

Ok, ok, so maybe I tortured Bowser for a minute. My boyfriend's mom gave us a couple pieces of her old baby clothes (is that a hint? LOL), so we put one on the cat for a split second. He looks thrilled!

These are from my sister's house a couple weeks ago. She has three cats, as well as three little boys and a boy on the way!

This is Frankie, short for Francine. We think she might have some neurological problems, but she's a total sweetie.

Frankie loves her boys!

This is Holly. She's the nicest kitty you'll ever meet. She is one toe away from being in the Guinness Book of World Records for most toes on a cat! Her paws are amazing! Unfortunately she's developed a thyroid problem, and she went from 11 pounds to 4. She is 12 years old and the vet says there's not much to do other than make her comfortable

She switched laps the whole evening

Their other cat is Bear, and she's Holly's sister. I didn't get a picture of her, but she's in on top of the couch in this one. She looks just like a Norwegian Forest Cat (sizewise, too! She's huge!) but her sister looks like an ordinary calico!

All of the cats are so cute! What is the name of the giant calico in the last picture?
Your sister is looking good!

LOL, the big dog? That's Skadi. She was rescued from death row at a local shelter. She used to be a hunting dog but was given up because she would escape her yard and was too "people friendly"
. She is the sweetest dog in the world, but she had extreme separation anxiety whenever my sister would leave. They had to crate her when they left the house or else she would tear up the place, but when she was in the crate she would try to pry her way out to the point of making herself bleed. Poor girl would also run away any chance she could. My sister tried everything to keep her, even putting her on doggy prozac, but with the new baby coming along and all of the other problems, her vet said it would be best for her to find a new home. It was a sad decision, but sister did a lot of researching and now Skadi is living on a big farm with other rescue dogs. She is very happy now and my nephews and sister get updates on her frequently :)

Aww!  What sweet kitties!  I love Bowser in the sunbeam!  And I can't wait for the day I find one of my 2 snuggled with DD while she sleeps!  They have to let her closer first!

BTW I'm totally jealous of your sister's bump!  It's all cute and perfect!  I never completely loose my belly button so mine stays flat in front for a long time.  It's weird.

LOL, this reminded me. I took a picture of her by the Christmas tree and her belly was hanging out. This:

She found it so funny because she didn't know it was out, and she was laughing so hard that her belly button popped out for the first time! Which of course, caused more and more laughing. She was only 6 and a half months along in this picture, believe it or not!

Well she's only a few weeks ahead of me then!  I'm one week shy of 6 months.  And tell her not to worry; last Monday I threw on one of my old non-maternity long shirts.  I thought I could get away with it.  Half way through grocery shopping I realized the shirt kept riding up over my belly so you could see the waist of my gorgeous over the belly maternity jeans.
Ok the jeans look fine; but no one wants to advertise that your jeans extend up to your bosom! Know what I mean?  But then I also had a toddler whining with a runny nose having a mini-tantrum.  I'm pretty sure she diverted at least some attention.  With all those boys; I'm sure your sis knows a thing or 2 about that too.

Oh and when I'm at home; my belly is usually hanging out.  Moslty because this baby likes to kick low so any pants I own sit in a tender area.
