So I gave Bella a bath last weekend in dawn (we are fighting the never ending flea battle, no flea meds seem to work due to flea adaption from the many animals in this area). Well Monday she started sneezing. She doesn't do if often, like she can go half a day without a sneeze, than BAM multiple back to back. But even Jack is sneezing now and than too. No one has temps, all clear mucus. I called my vet they said since no signs of illness not to worry, but could her bath have caused this? Since her AND Jack are sneezing could it be allergies? My son and I did do a massive cleaning and reorganizing of his room Monday, and man was it DUSTY! Even my nose has been hating me since. I just worry with her preggers

There's no place like home
It's doubtful that the bath in Dawn over the weekend is causing her to sneeze now. If both of your cats are sneezing, then they could both be reacting to the dust, or they both have gotten a respiratory infection.

Have you heard of food grade Diatomaceous Earth as a treatment for fleas? It's one of the safest things to use for your pets and while it can be dusty, it will kill off fleas without having to bathe or use chemicals in your home. If you buy this, make sure you buy the FOOD GRADE form of it, as the normal formula can harm your pets.

I think it may very well be the dust, I keep finding her laying in spots that either a i had not dusted yet or up high near my drop down ceiling which has tons of dust behind it and the pieces are warped so they bow some opening small cracks that dust can seep through(got to love old mill houses) when she is down on the ground she seems to do fine, no sneezing. Guess I will have to try and figure out how to get those areas cleaner.

As for the food grade Diatomaceous Earth, from what I am reading on line I sprinkle some in their food as a natural pesticide and also around the house?
