I adopted an older kitten, Magnus, from the CAPIC Cats rescue group in November 2011 after my beloved 15-year-old Harley Cat went to the rainbow bridge earlier that month (he had cancer). I was heartbroken at his passing and felt that rescuing a cat from a bad life would help me to feel better. I am very glad I made that decision. While Harley Cat cannot be replaced, my new cat, Magnus, has his own special place in my life now.
I am a professional artist, and, as a thank you to the rescue group CAPIC Cats, I decided to create an artwork inspired by Magnus. I am making prints of that artwork, with HALF the sales price of the print being donated back to CAPIC CATS. The only money I am receiving from these sales help to reimburse me on my expenses on having the prints made.
