Question of the Day: Tues. Jan. 10 2012

Good morning, please excuse my lack of posting over the holidays..... but I am back with your QOTD.

So, here you go:

How many times have you had to move in your life?

Let's see.... 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10.... 10! And we're done now! YAY!!! A lot as a kid, but thankfully most we in the same school district!

Once.. from my parent's to my apartment 4 years ago

THIS has to be a record Great question. In the first ten years of marriage - I kid you not we moved..... TWELVE times. AND four of those were in ONE year :nothappy: Job relocation to Denver - rented apartment, bought house, moved back to Chicago, rented house, bought house..... By the fourth move in that year - we were donating or tossing out practically everything. So sick of packing and re-packing thing's we never used. Now I think back and want some of those thing's :lol3: We have been in this current house for 16 years now.

OH I just noticed that you said life ....... So that total is now 18..................

Thankfully I never had to move when I was a kid. Not including moving back and forth between dorm/apartment and my parents' house in college, I have moved 6 times. Never state-to-state, thank goodness! Packing and moving is probably my least favorite chore EVER.

About five times. I was too young to remember the first three but boy do I remember the last two!

I think 9 times total.  Somewhere around there.  I don't remember the first few places; just from what my my Mom has told me.  I think DH and I will move again someday; maybe closer to or in our retirement. But I'd like to stay where we are for the time being. 

I have moved four times in my life. Most of it was in my adult life. Went to another state in my last move. Moving with cats isn't easy.

I've moved myself twice, but since I'm a mover, I also moved hundreds of other people.

I have moved 11 times. I am done moving until we buy a house in a couple of years.

3 times when I was younger and still living at home .. and then maybe 12 or more times since I went to University. I lived in a different apartment each year for my four years on uni, then I moved to Arizona and then back to Canada ... then to Korea .. then back to Canada and have moved 5 times since then .. we will be purchasing a house in the new future, so hopefully no more moving for a long long while after that!! 

I've moved 6 times so far....

Was born in NJ in a green house in 1987.

First moved to brown house in 1990
Then moved to white house in 1994 (yeah we refer to our old houses in NJ by exterior color :lol3: )
Then moved to NC in 2004
Then moved to in-laws house in SC in 2005
Then moved to house I had built in 2009
Then moved to another house in 2011

Will be moving one more time this weekend in SC, then probably again within the next year to another state.

Four, I think.

15 times from the time I was born. Thankfully, DH and I have no plans to move anymore (I hope).

I've moved 11 times...I'm really sick of moving! (I should be a professional mover at this point!:lol3
