My Cat Linus

Thread Starter

My cat Linus recently passed away.  He had a big personality and warm presence which was felt by everybody he came in contact with (nobody has forgotten the first time they met Linus).  It was hard to say goodbye after 14 years, but I’ve found it helpful to really look back and appreciate his companionship, a process which has resulted in a short memorial video.  I think it captures what made him not only beloved pet, but a true member of the family.  I’m posting it here to share with other animal lovers who also have had (or are currently trying) to cope with their loss.  Thanks.

What a beautiful tribute to Linus! He was beautiful and so loving rbheart.gif . Its obvious he had a wonderful life with you and is greatly missed. We lost our Monster on Christmas Eve so your tribute touches my heart. Maybe Linus and Monster are playing together at RB. hugs.gif

Linus was a really beauty. I'm so sorry for your loss.  That was a beautiful tribute to a well loved family member.

I'm coming up on the year anniversary of my sweet Jack's death, and looking back over his wonderful life really helps the grief.  So did adding new family members, not to replace him but to start the next cycle of happy memories.

I recently had to have my boy Heathcliff put down (he was 17). It was one of the hardest things I've ever had to do. It looks like Linus had a most wonderful and happy life. So sorry for your loss, RIP Linus  angel.gif
