My cat has worms. They look like little wite rice on her anus. I treated her 12 days ago with piperzine and didnt really see any till today. Would it be okay to treat her again?

Check with a vet.  Be sure to get the accepted tapeworm treatment, which is what your cat has.

Hi and welcome to TCS!!! I have always used Droncit for tapeworm. You only need one dose to eradicate the tapeworm. Ask the vet for Droncit. :vibes::vibes:

I agree with the recommendation for Droncit. That has always cleared them up for me with a single dose.

Tapeworms are caused by fleas. Make sure you treat your environment and your pets for fleas when you give them the Droncit, otherwise they will just come back. And don't use over the counter flea medications - they can harm your pet.

I don't know where you live, but if in the U.S., if your cats are indoor/outdoor, it's easy enough to use Frontline or Advantage or something on the monthly to stop the cycle of fleas. To rid them from your home, buy flea collars, cut some up, and drop them in your vacuum canister or bag. They're potentially deadly to your cats - but they do a great job of killing fleas and eggs, so vacuuming daily for a week or two (concentrating on "edges") with cut up pieces of that stuff in the vacuum should get rid of any fleas in the house.

Of course... cats can also get tapeworm from eating something like a mouse, or anything outside, if they're hunting.
