Kitten smacked on the head with a shovel!

I bought the paper yesterday and was horrified to read that a very young kitten ( maybe 4 weeks if that) was hit on the head with a shovel and left to die.

SPCA officials said that 2 teens were seen doing this to the kitten and police are currently seeking there whereabouts as they will be charged with animal cruelty.

My gawd what can a 4 week old kitten do to you besides maybe run up your leg and scratch you a bit.

When I get some free time I will scan the article and submit it here.

Some people.... i've really no idea how they think.
I have two younger teenage brothers and they have nothing but compassion and care to all animals.
What kind of monsters will they grow up to be??

I sincerely hope they get caught

OMG Some people should not even be allowed out of the house. If these children are like this now what will they be like as an adult? I can't even imangine what they will teach their children when they arrive at adulthood

How is the kitten doing ??? Did it died ? Or does it still life ?? That poor thing . That make me mad

Moving this thread to SOS - we try to keep cat abuse stories there.

I think when they are caught, their punishment should be getting beat over the head with a shovel. See how funny they think it is then!

I agree with everyone who thinks THEY should get hit in the head! Grr! What happened to the kitten? Is it alive? I hope so . . . poor thing . . .

OMG! That's disgusting! If I had my way they would be long gone! It's sickening and cruel!
