I'm such a bad meowmy. It was yesterday, 1/6, and it totally slipped by me, with me thinking, "Why does this date mean something to me?"
So, a Belated Happy Gotcha Day, Larry!!
4 years ago yesterday, this fluffy, shy, black and white furball came into my life, and now I can't imagine life without him. I know I probably post basically the same words every year on this day, but the feeling hasn't changed.
I come home to him and he's sitting by the door, and then he meows, and stretches, and rolls over for a tummy rub. I have to get down on the floor and rub heads with him, otherwise he won't leave me alone.... he wants his greeting, and that's it!
He makes me laugh, hopping around with his big foofy tail up in the air.
He was my buddy when I was undergoing cancer treatment - I think it was a big ol' plan of the Universe that he came into my life before I was diagnosed with breast cancer. As they say, it was meant to be.
So, purr on, little fluffy buddy. You really are the love of my life.
